How long will it take to ship my order?

Because I get very few orders on Storenvy storefront in comparison to my Etsy shop,
I admittedly sometimes fail to notice when I do get a new order.I will do my best to have your order shipped out within 7 business days, but please don’t hesitate to send me a polite nudge at [email protected] if I haven’t done so.

How long will it take to receive my order?
I ship most orders within a couple of days after receiving payment, but I reserve the right take up to 7 (Canadian) business days.
Sometimes, I receive unusually large amounts of orders and/or am tabling at an upcoming local craft fair, and this may cause delays. As a multi-disabled human, my capacities and limitations are also subject to change at any time; this may also cause delays. As a buyer, you deserve to receive goods in exchange for payment, but please keep in mind that I am keenly aware just how much trying to meet non-disabled people's expectatons is responsible for how sick I am today.
I ship via Canada Post (regular mail, or small packet depending on the destination - sadly, no tracking number), and estimated wait times are as follows...
- Canada: 4 to 6 business days
- United States: 6 to 10 business days
- International: 8 to 12 business daysPlease note that these are just estimations given to me by Canada Post staff.
All international mail is subject to the Customs regulations and laws of both the country of origin and the country of destination. If I'm given a tracking number, I will message it to you. If there is no tracking number and you haven't received your package within the estimation time the post office has given me, contact me and I will do my best to find out where it is!

Why are you charging the price you do?
I buy my parts in bulk locally, and when I do the math, one button is worth $1.75. I also get my images printed professionally, hand-cut every single one of them, and only mail out the very best ones - if there's a itty bitty mote of dust or the image is slightly askew, I do not use it. Wasted buttons accumulate, but I only wish to send out the very best!
Also, storenvy charges a 10% comission for marketplace sales, and PayPal and Stripe charge 2.5% interest.
Since being laid off this Summer, selling is my only means of income.

Because we live in a capitalist society that exploits us for unfair wages, we are taught that our time and labour isn’t really worth anything. But truth is, and it may seem silly, mailing out 10 orders can take up to 5 hours (more or less).
What I charge for buttons is more than they are *physically worth*, admittedly, but my time and energy is worth that much. I put a lot of effort into every order than I do, and I consider my buttons to be a pretty decent quality.
Because I only send the best, I have A LOT GOING TO WA$TE.
Also, dealing with the post office is the bane of my existence, and I end up losing a lot of money due to shipping mishaps.

As a bonus, I’ve included a ‘whichever you’ve got’ discount to my listings with options. This means, if I already have one of those buttons lying around, I won’t have to print one out. Yay, less work! Less waste!Feel free to include your preferred option. If I don’t have ANY printed out/already made, I’ll print/make the one you’d rather have.

Why haven’t I received my order?
Estimates =/= guarantees. Delays sometimes occur, and sometimes orders are returned, which can take quite a bit of time.

I sent you a message, but I never heard back from you. What gives?
Chronic fatigue + autistic burnout + ADHD + OCD + brainfog/cognitive issues is the short answer.
That being said, I tend to have any easier time responding when someone messages me twice!

Do you offer shipping upgrades with tracking?
Unfortunately, because tracking is extremely costly in Canada and storenvy does not have a set-up that allows me to provide multiple shipping options to buyers, all orders are sent vis standard mail without a tracking number. HOWEVER, if you would like your order to be tracked, send me a message and we’ll work out the details in order to make it happen.
