Thanks for checking out the ***ORIGINAL*** patch design and seller!

It's been brought to my attention that quite A LOT of people have either copied or purchased wholesale replicas of MY original patch design, and are selling it for their own profit while I don't get a single penny. This is blatant theft.

I won't pretend that I came up with the idea of substituting "I want to believe" with "I want to leave", but I was the first to put in on THIS specific background, because I wanted it to be as close to the original poster in Mulder's office. I didn't just choose the image from Google search - I spent hours designing a similar version of the original background, myself, by hand in photoshop using my own colours that I liked more than the original, and spent an additional hour shopping and trying fonts to match the original "I want to believe" poster. *My* labour went into this; if you've purchased the postcard or sticker from my shop, you can see that it's a design with an array of beautiful and bright colours, not the original background.

I spent time saving enough money to get these patches made during a time where I desperately needed every dollar I earned. I worked every single day to make sure that, if these didn't sell as well as I'd hoped, I wouldn't be immediately homeless. I stressed so much at the thought of having these made and being stuck with items that didn't sell that I didn't pay to have them made for almost a year. I gathered my courage and I took a risk. I am very fortunate and grateful that it paid off.

I didn't pick the first or cheapest wholesale patch producers that I found - I shopped for the best I could find, because unlike the art thieves, I deeply care about quality and I want my buyers to have the best. I paid extra money to have the producers make samples repeatedly because I wanted the colours to be perfect. I don't regret it, because I have never received less than a 5 star rating for these patches. Scroll down and see for yourself. I'll wait.

** I understand the desire to save money and buy cheap, as I fall within the poverty line. I am technically homeless after a difficult year in an unhealthy living situation, and am currently staying in someone else's home until I can afford to make a happy home for myself. I am a broke disabled artist, and unable to work a 9-5 job; THIS IS THE ONLY WORK I AM CURRENTLY ABLE TO DO, and it is my only source of income. Despite this, I would never dream of trying to save a few bucks for a hardworking artist's knockoff. By supporting artists, you not only get the best, but you support their survival and ongoing work. **

And that is exactly what those who buy from me do: they ensure my survival, and encourage me to keep creating merchandise. Without you, I can't come up with the money to make new items that you'll love. I don't love what I do nearly enough for just the money, because it doesn't pay well - I do it because I enjoy being able to give people the best and making them happy.
